Dining Out Club

The OxVeg Dining Out Club aims to provide sociable, veggie-friendly company in which to enjoy tasty meals, while reminding local restaurateurs of the need to provide delicious vegetarian and vegan food.  Meals out are usually organised once per month (please see our diary of events for details of forthcoming meals).  Anyone with an interest in good food and the vegetarian way of life is most welcome to join us - even those who are not yet fully vegetarian - the only requirement is to order a vegetarian meal!  Vegetarians with meat-eating partners could also find this an excellent way to show their loved ones more of the joys of veggie living!  Our regular attendees are aged from early twenties upwards, and include men and women, vegetarians and vegans, drinkers and non-drinkers - we just all love good food.  For more information, please contact Natasha Williams on 01865 723760 or email Protected email address  Restaurants visited so far have included the following (all are situated in Oxford unless otherwise stated): * Al-Salam Lebanese Restaurant, Park End Street * Al-Shami Lebanese Restaurant, Walton Crescent * Giraffe, George Street * Jee Saheb Indian, North Parade Avenue * The Jam Factory, Hollybush Row * Bangkok House, Hythe Bridge Street * The Pink Giraffe, St. Clements * The Gardeners Arms, Plantation Road * Greek Taverna, Summertown * Pizza Express, Golden Cross * Saffron Indian-French Restaurant, Summertown*
