Membership discounts
On production of a current membership card members of Oxford Vegetarians may claim a discount at the establishments and businesses listed below, subject to the following rules:
1. You must be prepared to show your OV membership card when claiming a discount. (For Natural Unity you will be given a code to quote; Veg Voyages will check your membership with us.) If you cannot do so, or if your membership has expired, the establishment concerned is entitled to refuse you the discount.
2. Please do not claim discounts other than those specified. For example, the 5% discount at Uhuru Wholefoods is only available on purchases to the value of £10 and above.
3. Your membership card is not transferable. Only you are entitled to claim a discount using your membership card. Please destroy your old membership card when it has expired.
4. Where available, discounts may only be claimed on goods and
services that are suitable for vegetarians. At restaurants, for
example, please do not claim a discount if you are paying for
non-vegetarians dishes (i.e. those containing meat, poultry or
fish).
Please remember that all OV members' discounts are
provided at the discretion of the manager or proprietor of the
establishment concerned and may be withdrawn at any time. However,
please Contact Us if you have been
refused a discount to which you consider yourself entitled. Members
may also claim a 10% discount on books and merchandise sold by the
