Radio Oxford Interview
Paul Freestone
Date: 2010-05-27
Paul Freestone from OxVeg was interviewed by Louisa Hannan on Radio Oxford to discuss National Vegetarian Week.
Taking along samples kindly donated by www.redwoodfoods.co.uk, Paul talked with Louisa about vegetarianism/ He explained that more and more people are becoming vegetarian, or reducing their meat consumption, especially in recent years, when it has become apparent that eating meat is responsible for more greenhouse gases than the whole of the world's transport system. You can listen again via the Radio Oxford page here. Paul also promoted OxVeg, the local veggie group for Oxfordshire. We have two more events to celebrate National Vegetarian Week - A Free Food Stall and aNational Vegetarian Week Picnic. Both events will offer plenty of food samples, and information about vegetarianism, including recipe booklets.
